First Aid
Lifesaving Society First Aid awards are offered by thousands of
Affiliate Members across the country, and often used as a First Aid
employment standard. In Newfoundland and Labrador, the Society's
Standard First Aid certification is recognized under the
Occupational Health and Safety Act for workplace first aid training
requirements. No water required: use Lifesaving Society first aid
awards to train your non-aquatic staff - playground, camp,
maintenance - as well as the general public.
First Aid Training
Learn to deal with injuries and medical emergencies at
home, work or play. The Lifesaving Society offers three levels
of training:
- Basic First Aid
- Emergency First Aid
- Standard First Aid
The Lifesaving Society also offers:
- CPR
- Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
- Anaphylaxis Rescuer
